Airrex, the marker leader in diesel-driven infrared heaters, present the AH-200i, a small-but-mighty biodiesel (or diesel/red diesel) powered infrared space-heater, designed to fill spaces like terraces, garages and greenhouses with heat without breaking the bank.
No smell, no exhaust pipe, and inexpensive to run – an almost impossible trio for portable heating solutions for workshops, warehouses, barns and small storage facilities alike – but these magical infrared heaters from Rex Nordic do just that.
Using infrared heating technology means that unlike ceramic heaters, ours don’t heat the air around the heater but the actual walls, floors, items and people themselves in the room. That means you’re warmer faster for less. And the room even stays hot longer if you open a door compared to standard heaters, since the room is hot rather than the air – perfect for a shop or showroom where customers come in and out regularly. It’s the fastest heating of a larger space with the least energy consumption.
Inside the device there is an advanced oil burner with an electric fuel pump, which circulates the combustion gases through pipelines with ceramic coating, which results in heat being created as infrared radiation. Because of the triple combustion process, combustion is clean and complete – unlike many competing heaters, you don’t need to fit any permanent ventilation tubes into your building – normal ventilation is sufficient. And when the burner is running, the silencing system inside the exhaust pipe means that the Airrex is incredibly quiet – about as loud as a desk fan in normal use.
It’s also the savvy option for the cost-conscious business – for an industry standard hall measuring 500m3, with a temperature difference of 15 degrees from outside to inside, fuel comsumption is as low as 2.5l per day! The heater comes with a built-in thermostat so you can set it and leave it, or you can set it to heat for a certain time period, or continuously until switched off manually, depending on your preference.
Unlike most heaters of its calibre, the Airrex comes with castor wheels – not only is installation plug-and-play, but you can move the heater wherever it is needed, as long as there is a power socket – or one of our inverters, sold separately.
